Tuesdays

Tuesday is learning pod day at OLO, where students build independence and community.

Parents provide independent work for their child, and the teacher supports when challenges arise. Students also collaborate on math and science activities, explore, and play.

What is a natural-living project?

Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing our world, becoming pervasive in almost every realm. In today's fast-paced environment, many skills are developed with technology as the foundation.

Natural-living projects, on the other hand, expose students to organic intelligence. Math and science are taught through timeless skills such as gardening, herbal healing, foraging, and compass navigation—foundational treasures that OLO Microschool is proud to pass on to our students.

Natural-living projects enhance students' connection to nature, promote physical activity, foster cognitive development, and build self-reliance.

Most importantly, in a Christ-centered environment, these skills deepen students' connection to our Creator.
